SECTION 1 : Introduction to the Hotlaps championship Up

In 2009, and contrary to the other years, the Hotlaps championship will not be an independant championship with the other championships (F1 and MSS).

It will use as basis the F1 championship on the Grand Prix 4 game. The qualifyings of the F1 championship will be the events of the Hotlaps championship. So, the ranking of each event Hotlaps will be done on the basis of the qualifyings grid of the F1 championship, after verifications.

SECTION 2 : Drivers and Teams Up

To participate, it is not obligatory to be part of a team.

If you are part of a team in the F1 championship, this team will be indicated for information on the hotlaps grids.
Otherwise, the default team "CVGPi Team" is indicated.

SECTION 3 : Game configuration Up

Game setting
Each event of this championship takes place according the rules of the F1 championship: cf. F1 rules.

Session code
Like in the F1 championship, the session code is obligatory.

SECTION 4 : Points reckoner and Rewards Up

Points are attributed to each participant of the hotlap, according his result.
In case of egality with the times, the drivers will be ranked according the chronological order of the sending of the time.
1 point is given to each participant of the hotlap, except in case of disqualification (DQ).

Reckoner of the points (including the point of participation):
  • 1st : 21 points
  • 2nd : 17 points
  • 3rd : 15 points
  • 4th : 13 points
  • 5th : 12 points
  • 6th : 11 points
  • 7th : 10 points
  • 8th : 9 points
  • 9th : 8 points
  • 10th : 7 points
  • 11th : 6 points
  • 12th : 5 points
  • 13th : 4 points
  • 14th : 3 points
  • 15th : 2 points
  • 16th and after : 1 point, the one of participation

  • A driver will be declared Hotlaps Champion Driver : the one who has won the more points at the end of all the events of the championship.

    SECTION 5 : Sanctions Up

    The sanctions will be the same as the ones applied in the qualifyings of the F1 championship : cf. F1 rules.

    SECTION 6 : The Rules Up

    These present rules must be read by all the drivers and it is highly recommanded for all the drivers to read it regularly if there is a need.
    These rules may be modified anytime without notice.
    All copy, entire or partial, is not authorized without the approval of the President of the League.
